China expects world economic growth to pick up slightly in 2015

BEIJING, Dec. 11 (Xinhua) -- The world economic growth speed will probably pick up slightly in 2015, but the recovery would remain weak, according to the Central Economic Work Conference concluded on Thursday.

Xinhua Insight: Policy easing eyed as economic activity remains sluggish

BEIJING, Nov. 13 (Xinhua) -- A raft of weaker-than-expected economic indicators released Thursday highlighted downward pressures for China's economy and prompted analysts to eye further easing policies in the near term.
