Bill payment company launches English site

BILL payment company Shanghai EBPP Information Service Co Ltd has launched an English website for paying public utility fees.
The website (www.shfft.com/en/) offers payment options for water, electricity and gas bills, as well as mobile phone bills and other public utility bills for residents in Shanghai and six other regions including Beijing, Zhejiang and Jiangsu provinces.
Its Chinese website has 3 million registered users and covers 46 cities.
Users can also settle traffic tickets on the platform.
Customers are not charged commission for the service.
Shanghai EBPP is expected to launch its service in at least 100 cities by the end of this year.
