Subaru hit by defective air bags

SUBARU of America is recalling 8,557 older model cars in the US equipped with potentially defective air bag inflators made by Japan’s Takata Corp, the automaker and US safety regulators said yesterday.
US safety regulators have estimated that the number of vehivcles that may be affected by the Takata air bag issue could be above 1 million.
