SHANGRI-LA International Hotel Management Ltd yesterday signed a distribution cooperation agreement with Ctrip.com to leverage the booking platform to distribute its brands of Shangri-La, Traders and Kerry on Chinese mainland.
The reservation systems of Shangri-La and Ctrip will be connected directly so that travelers can book Shangri-La, Kerry and Traders hotels on the mainland with the best available rate and receive confirmation for room types and rates on a real-time basis.
The service is expected to cover the global hotel reservation network of Shangri-La by 2012.
