MEDIA Markt China will open another two or three stores in Shanghai between October and December to expand its presence in the fast growing market.
It will also launch an online store, "possibly" through acquiring an e-commerce firm, Ton Wortel, the company's CEO said.
Its third store in Shanghai opened yesterday in Baoshan District.
Media Markt plans to open more than 100 stores nationwide by 2015.
