Business to be affected
THE business relationship between China and Japan is bound to be affected by the Diaoyu Islands situation, Commerce Ministry spokesman Shen Danyang said yesterday.
China was studying how to continue negotiations and exchanges, such as a meeting about a special trade zone for China, South Korea and Japan due at the end of the month, Shen said.
He also said that China was opposed to any illegal misconduct that targeted foreign companies.
"Encountering any illegal behaviors, foreign companies can seek help from the ministry and the public security bureau," Shen said.
