DOW Chemical Co sees great potential in China's water treatment market as it plans a new plant in east China.
The new facility in Huzhou, Zhejiang Province, will produce reverse osmosis membrane elements when production starts in 2013, the US firm said yesterday. It didn't reveal the investment scale of the project.
The proposed facility will deliver local supply of cutting-edge technology for water desalination and waste water reuse of portable, non-portable and industrial water serving China.
