Moscow eyes investment
RUSSIA expects to attract more Chinese direct investment as officials from the Moscow city government unveiled projects that welcome private capital yesterday in Shanghai.
The projects ranged from development and construction of medical institutions, schools, roads and transfer of corporate shares in various sectors such as energy.
Vladimir Efimov, head of the property department at the Moscow city government, said the Russian capital hoped to receive more foreign investment to boost its economy.
Shanghai was the second stop for the Russian delegation after Beijing.
Its final stop is Hong Kong.
