Airlines tie up

CHINA Southern Airline, the country's largest by fleet size, has joined forces with LAN Airlines for 23 cargo points in South America.
The two carriers signed a Special Proportion Agreement, under which LAN Airlines will help deliver China Southern's goods to seven destinations, including Rio de Janeiro, from Sydney, and to 16 destinations from Los Angeles, the Guangzhou-based China Southern said in an e-mailed statement yesterday.
