AVATR opened its Shanghai Innovation Center at the end of September in Minhang. The 17,000-square-meter center at the Hongqiao International Central Business District will house over 1,100 employees and serve as AVATR’s smart driving development and international expansion hub. Four core functions have been established. They are a brand and marketing center leveraging Shanghai’s media and exhibition ecosystem; an intelligent R&D center tapping into the Yangtze River Delta’s AI and semiconductor expertise; a product and design center drawing on local creative talent; and a corporate showcase to connect with global capital and resources via the Hongqiao hub.
