Meilong Town has attracted attention as one of the exemplary regions to be displayed at the biennial event Shanghai Urban Space Art Season with the theme “15-minute Community Life Circle: the People’s City.” The event showcases how artistic innovation and urbanization benefit people’s lives. The town boasts an innovation park transformed from a beer plant, a community life center and a waterfront leisure area.
