A 12-kilometer-long riverside path in Minhang is under construction and set to open in 2025. An additional 16-kilometers may be added by the end of 2035. Additional long-term development plans include the industrial transformation of the Wujing region, for which public space along the river will be built. Various cultural innovation and ecology projects are in the works, too.
