MSC Cruises launches its flagship Bellissima

MSC Cruises, the world’s largest privately-owned cruise company, has hosted a celebration on its newly launched flagship, MSC Bellissima. The celebration named China Moment was to mark the ship’s entrance into the Chinese market in 2020. The celebration started with a performance of The Peony Pavilion, a beloved classic Chinese play in the venerated style of the Kunqu Opera. As a member of the innovative Meraviglia Class, MSC Bellissima will become the largest cruise ship in China by the time it arrives. It features a passenger capacity of 5,686, a gross registered tonnage of 171,598 tons, a total length of 315 meters and 2,217 cabins.

“Offering an overall product upgrade and more diversified tailor-made services, MSC Bellissima is sure to provide Chinese guests a delightful journey beyond their imaginations,” said Helen Huang, president of MSC Cruises China.
