‘Honor of Kings’ expo at shipyard

An eSports exhibition about “Honor of Kings,” one of the world’s most profitable mobile games, is to be held at a century-old shipyard on the Yangpu District waterfront on Friday.
The exhibition will feature figures and scenes from the game by employing the latest light and film technologies.
According to the organizer Stream Interactive Entertainment, visitors will feel they are entering the game with life-size structures and figures.
The exhibition will also feature stories behind the development of the game.
The exhibition is part of the district’s efforts to attract and support companies in the eSports, film, television and Internet audio-visual industries. The district has issued a batch of policies covering office space, operational costs and talent, and support for the construction of eSports venues and cinemas.
The relocation of Shanghai Shipyard has left a large number of facilities, including two major shipyards, crane towers, conveyor belts, gear wheels and pipelines, at the original site on the Huangpu River waterfront.
