Hunt for patient’s contacts
SHANGHAI is looking for people who may have had close contact with a new coronavirus patient, the Shanghai Center for Disease Control and Prevention said.
The patient was confirmed as infected yesterday by officials of Zhongwei City, northwest China’s Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, who revealed the whereabouts of the patient.
At 1:30pm on February 19, the patient took a flight SU513 from Iran and arrived at Moscow airport at 5pm (Moscow time). The next day, at about 9am, the person flew to Pudong airport on flight SU206. After arriving at the airport at 11:05pm, the patient took a taxi and checked in at Yitel Trend hotel.
At 9am on February 22, the patient took a Didi car to Shanghai Railway Station, boarding the 6:36pm train for Lanzhou. The person was wearing masks throughout Shanghai.
