Trading center inks partner deals

THE Hongqiao Import Commodity Exhibition and Trading Center has signed agreements with a slew of partners to better serve the upcoming China International Import Expo.

The center signed cooperation agreements with Guangdong Top Ideal SCM Service Group Co.

It also signed service partnership agreements with China Pacific Insurance Group, Shanghai’s Third Branch of China Construction Bank, Malu Innovation, Shanghai International Port Group, King & Wood Mallesons, Shanghai EDI Center, and Shanghai Origin International Logistics Co.

Zhu Yinghua of the Shanghai Hongqiao Central Business District Management Committee, said she hoped the deals would provide an opportunity for the center to further support the second CIIE.

The center should actively promote and attract more import commodities and trade organizations and explore ways to combine bonded exhibition and trading with cross-border e-commerce to create a retail platform for consumers’ online and offline purchases, Zhu said.

“We will carry out cooperation in various fields including finance and port trade,” said Cai Jun, the center’s general manager.
