Thailand’s Kanyalak Preedasuttijit and Chinese Taipei’s Peng Chieh shared the early lead at the Hengqin Phoenix Tree Building Orient Golf Challenge yesterday as each carded a round of 3-under 69 in the opening tournament of the China LPGA Tour season. Chinese rookie pro Ji Yifan was two shots back in third after shooting a first-round 71 over the Zhuhai Orient Golf Club layout, while eleven players were at even-par 72 at the 500,000-yuan (US$75,000) tournament in Zhuhai, south China’s Guangdong Province.
