Chinese veteran Lin Dan claimed a straight-game win over Lu Chia Hung of Chinese Taipei at the 2019 Asian Championships in Wuhan, central Hubei Province, yesterday. A treble winner at the championships, Lin showed no mercy to his opponent in each game as he began his battle for a spot in the last eight. “Age is not a problem,” the 35-year-old replied to the question at the post-game press conference. “I have no intention to quit and will definitely go for the best, as there’s no injury or any other reason to quit.”
