Lin knocked out in Wuhan
Chinese veteran Lin Dan was knocked out by Chou Tien Chen of Chinese Taipei 10-21, 10-21 in the second round of the 2019 Asian Badminton Championships in Wuhan, central China’s Hubei Province, yesterday. Lin, a two-time Olympic winner, was the first Chinese to be eliminated in the men’s singles. “Chou played aggressively and most of his attacks ended up in scores. Compared with him, I made more mistakes in the game,” Lin said. “I was not at my best.” Lin had won seven of his eight duels with Chou before this one.
