'Lucky' pair survive WA light plane crash

Two people have escaped serious injury after a light plane crash north-west of Wagin, in WA's Wheatbelt.
Police say the pilot and a passenger were able to free themselves from the wreckage before emergency services arrived at Piesseville.
The plane came down earlier this morning and volunteer firefighters are cleaning up a minor fuel spill.
In a tweet, police said the two "lucky" occupants had "minor injuries only".
No other details are known at this stage.
