Worker killed in WA mine site accident

A worker has been killed at a mine site in Western Australia's Goldfields.
The man died after a bridge collapsed from the top of a settling tank at the Central Norseman Gold Mine, the Department of Mines and Petroleum confirmed.
The department said two Kalgoorlie-based mine safety inspectors were onsite carrying out a scheduled inspection at the time of the incident.
Another two inspectors from Perth have been sent to the site to investigate the death.
A spokesman said the department offered its sincere condolences to the worker's family, friends and co-workers.
