Cartoon series adapted into live stage drama
CHINA’S first homegrown 3D cartoon series “The Legend of Qin” has been adapted into a live stage drama. It is now presented at the Shanghai PG Theater.
Since its debut in 2007, the cartoon series has nurtured a large base of fans for its vivid depiction of a martial arts world and Chinese heroes during the ancient Qin Dynasty (221-207 BC).
Many of the sets display Chinese aesthetics and the distinctive charm of traditional arts. Multimedia elements are also incorporated into the drama to present visually stunning scenes and an immersive theater experience.
In addition to swordsmen, the drama will also feature famous historical characters such as Emperor Qinshihuang and philosophers of Mohism. It will lead audiences into a world of history, martial arts and fantasy.
