12 caught in latest crackdown against leaflet nuisance on city Metros

TWELVE people have been caught red-handed when sending advertising leaflets on Metro trains Thursday morning in another round of joint efforts by Metro operator and Metro police to crack down against the rampant violations.
The 12 caught have been punished based on the level of their offenses with the toughest punishment being administrative detention.
The Metro operator said it would continue the crack down against the lingering nuisance on the subway network. It also encourages passengers to tip off the staffers in the station.
