Masaharu thrills fans in Shanghai

Japanese singer, songwriter and actor Fukuyama Masaharu visited Shanghai for the 18th Shanghai TV Festival and the 15th Shanghai International Film Festival this month. He also performed at the Shanghai TV Festival award ceremony.
When asked why he has not played characters in emotional dramas, Masaharu explained: "I'm not trying to avoid those roles related to love and emotions. Maybe people think I'm of the marrying age and should be playing roles like that, but I haven't had the opportunity. No one has asked me to play roles like that."
He also said that he would like to return to Shanghai.
Many fans greeted Masaharu at the airport and he said he was surprised by their passion. He said he would travel any distance as long as fans are waiting for him.
