Baby Pandas Battle Over Basket of Leaves
Program Code: 0909346160505015 Source: Miaopai
Baby pandas are adorable by any count and they can be just as mischievous as toddlers.
A video, captured in Sichuan Province, shows a panda keeper trying to clean leaves in their enclosure. However, playful pandas make her job almost impossible.
You can't image the number of tricks that pandas play with all innocence intact until she manages to lure them out.
It starts with the keeper preparing to clean the enclosure with several cute pandas around.
The footage then shows two pandas trying to get into a bamboo basket.
While the keeper is wrestling with one of them, the other one jumps inside the basket.
The basket with the panda in it starts rolling and another panda joins the fun. It starts biting the basket and tries to get in.
The keeper holds one of them and puts it away from the area she is trying to clean.
The pandas, meanwhile seem bent on creating a mess and use the basket for their fun.
The keeper somehow manages to fill in a basket full of leaves. But before she could pick it up, the pandas come all over again.
One panda chases her to take the basket.
The struggle continues and one panda cub tries its best to get into the whole leaf-filled basket despite her pushing the panda away.
The unwilling-to-give-up panda uses its teeth to gain some grip and finally manages to get in.
The panda gets stuck though and loses balance tipping over the basket while still inside.
The keeper at last distracts the pandas with a dustpan. The pandas begin to struggle for the dustpan among themselves.
Before they are done with the dustpan, the keeper hurries to sweep the enclosure.
The pandas and their persistent keeper's video was widely shared online. Many netizens commented what a hard job the woman did.
The keeper in the video Mei Yan began to take care of pandas eight years ago when she was 22.
She has taken care of more than 50 pandas since. This year she has to take care of nine young and one adult pandas.
The baby pandas look lovable but their claws and teeth are very sharp. Many bites and scratches can be seen on Mei's body.
However, who can really be mad at these guys?
