Street Dance Becomes Exercise During Class Break
Program Code: 090934617033000024
While most Chinese students do traditional exercises to radio music during class break, a school in Chongqing is doing something very different.
In an online video, students at the Chongqing Nankai Middle School practice street dance acts on the playground. A student surnamed Liu said they learned the street dance from their sports teacher.
Many netizens applauded the school for the creative idea and said the dance is much better than the somewhat boring traditional exercises. Some even fell for the female leading dancer, saying "Amazing! She dances really well."
However, some netizens felt worried about the students who didn’t do so well in the dance. One of them joked, "Luckily, I've graduated. It would be a nightmare for those who are not so talented in dancing."
