A little boy chased his mother’s car for two kilometers on a busy road when she carelessly left him behind after dropping a relative off at the Zhuji Railway Station in Zhejiang Province on Christmas Day.
The woman, surnamed Li, didn't notice her son was missing from the backseat until a concerned taxi driver forced her to stop and asked why a kid was running after her.
The woman couldn’t see the boy and called police.
After searching for more than an hour, police finally found the boy 2 kilometers away from the railway station.
The little boy told police that he got out of the car to follow the relative. But when he turned back, he found his mother had driven off. The boy said he couldn’t catch the car, no matter how fast he ran.
As the footage shows, the boy, in black, once attempted to open the rear door but the car didn't slow down and drove away.
When Li saw her son at the police station, she went down on her knees to hug him tightly and broke into tears.
