A road-rage driver has been detained by police after he illegally made a U-turn to ram another car several times in retaliation in Zhongshan, Guangdong Province, on July 28, Nanfang Metropolis Daily reported.
The 32-year-old driver, surnamed Zhao, was rear-ended after he changed lanes and braked sharply in front of another car driven by a man surnamed Peng.
A video clip, captured by the dash cam on Peng's car, showed how Zhao took revenge on Peng afterwards.
Zhao got out of his car, jumped onto Peng's and started arguing with him.
Then he went back to his car, turned it around and kept ramming Peng's car.
According to the report, it's estimated that the damage to Peng's car was about 19,000yuan (US$2859).
Zhao was detained for "picking quarrels and provoking troubles," Zhongshan police said on its official account on Weibo.
He was also fined 200 yuan, and got three points deducted from his driving merit points.
