Police Officer Rides to the Rescue
Program Code: 09093461706070008 Source: Miaopai
Police in southwest China’s Chongqing city rode to the rescue after a teacher left admission cards for college entrance examination at a hotel.
A teacher, at Yucai Middle School, one of the city’s exam venues, realized the admission cards for the classroom had been left at the hotel. A frantic call was made to the police at 8:08am in a bid to salvage the situation.
With little time to spare a police officer climbed on a motorcycle and rode against peak hour traffic, through several red lights, to retrieve the cards and save the day on what was the first day of the national college entrance exam.
It only took the officer a little more than 10 minutes to get the cards on his motorcycle. It would have taken more than a half an hour's drive in normal conditions.
