In a shocking incident of marital violence, on Friday evening, a man fiercely beat his wife in front of their daughter and others around on a street in Chengdu, capital of southwest China’s Sichuan Province.
He suspected his wife had an extra-marital affair.
Several passers-by rushed to stop the man while their daughter kept crying due to fear. The man shouted them off. However, when many passers-by came in, he had to stop.
The violent scene was shot and posted online by a netizen.
Most netizens were enraged by the man's behavior, and they also praised what the passers-by did.
How can a man beat his wife like this? He can hardly be called a MAN!
Those passers-by are awesome. Whatever the reason is, men who beat women should go to hell!
Others showed some empathy toward the man.
Wait. No one cares about the extra-marital affair? He felt deeply betrayed and lost his sense. It's understandable.
If my partner cheated on me, I might do the same thing.
