Alipay raises risk control level after complaints of loophole

ADDRESSING a loophole involving money transfer, Alipay said today it has updated the risk control system this morning and now people can only use their own mobile devices to edit the code and load into their Alipay account.
Sina.com reported this morning that it is possible for people to hack into the account of others by knowing their friends or their recent purchases: Alipay offers an option to get into an account through ticking right answers out of pictures of friends or purchases, without knowing the original codes or receiving codes sent simultaneously to the designated mobile phone.
Alipay said it usually alerts account owner of the movement if money transfer takes place in their account to control risk.
