Big investment for p2p platform of hotel industry

DUOCAITOU, an online finance platform for accommodation industry, announced today that it has raised US$10 million in the latest round of financing with investors including DCM and Shunwei, whose co-founder is Xiaomi’s chief executive Lei Jun.
Duocaitou offers funding for decoration and smart upgrading for hotels, B&B (Bed and Breakfast) owners and apartment managers. For personal investors, it gives premiums or free hotel rooms as return.
Up to now, the platform has raised totally 4.6 billion yuan (US$670 million) covering projects in 375 destinations, with more than 10,000 personal investors.
