Foundations join hands for cooperation among think tanks

SHANGHAI Academy of Social Sciences Think Tank Foundation has partnered with German-based foundation Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) to strengthen cooperation among think tanks.

Under the partnership, TTF invited Alexander Proelss, a renowned professor at Trier University to give a lecture on the topic of the “International Law of the Sea as a Mechanism of Global Governance to Settle Conflicts of Interests.”

During the lecture, Proelss suggested China to make better use of its rights to address the issue of the South China Sea, which invited heated discussion among scholars from Shanghai’s institutions and universities.
