Fuel tank defect forces BMW recall

BMW China is recalling its new 7 series because of a fuel tank defect. A total of 1,694 BMW740Li and BMW750Li cars made between July 1, 2008 and May 6, 2009, in Chinese mainland, are being recalled because of fuel tank problems, Xinmin Evening News reported today.
