Hamburg to host China-EU economic forum

THE 5th Hamburg Summit, themed "China meets Europe," will be held in Hamburg, Germany from November 28 to 30, organizers said in Shanghai today.
It is a biennial Sino-European economic forum that aims to improve economic relations and understanding between China and Europe through open dialogues.
Former German Premier Helmut Schmidt, former United States Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, and Chinese Minister of Science and Technology Wan Gang are expected to attend the summit this year.
Senior business leaders from China will also make speeches at the forum, including Chief Financial Officer of the State Grid Corp Li Ruge and Director of China Shipping (Group) Co Xu Lirong.
