HONOR, Huawei’s sub-brand targeting young consumers, has sold more than 10 million phones in the first quarter, which made it one of the best-selling brand globally in the period.
To continue the success, Honor kicked off new flagship model Honor 9 and accessories including a body fat scale, a wristband and an air quality monitor, which are expected to woo Chinese young consumers “pursuing new lifestyle with convenience and their own attitudes”, Zhao Ming, Honor’s president, said yesterday in Shanghai.
Honor 9 comes with a 5.15-inch touchscreen display, 20-mega-pixel camera and ceramic home button. It is powered by Huawei-developed Kirin processor, 6GB memory and storage space of 64 gigabyte, whose prices were set starting from 2,299 yuan (US$333).
