THE Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences yesterday announced the setting up of an institute to conduct research on the Belt and Road initiative and offer services to promote cooperation among related countries. The International Silk Road Institution under the SASS will construct a national Big Data base to facilitate trade and investment under the Belt and Road initiative, said Wang Zhan, chief of SASS.
