FASHION house Prada is moving ahead with its long-delayed plans to go public.
Prada said in a statement that its board met yesterday to start the process of listing in Hong Kong. The company did not give a time frame.
CEO Patrizio Bertelli said the company's strategy of worldwide expansion has given it strong revenues and profitability, putting the label in a strong position to go the markets. Prada has discussed going public in the past, but the move was delayed due to the world economic crisis.
