SASS launches new institution to serve the national strategy

SHANGHAI Academy of Social Sciences announced today the establishment of an institute to do research on “One Belt, One Road” initiative and promote cooperation among related countries.
The International Silk Road Institution under the SASS will construct a nation-level big data base to facilitate trade and investment under the “One Belt, One Road” initiative, and promote the spirits that make the ancient Silk Road successful.
The institution will also offer various training to cultivate talent and strengthen understanding among related countries, ensuring better communication in policy-making, traffic connection, trade, currency and cultural exchange.
