SGMW recalls Chevrolet Sparks

SGMW is recalling its Chevrolet Spark sedans over possible fuel leakages. The recall involves 4,768 cars produced between March 3 and April 17 this year.
Free checks and repairs will be carried out on the vehicles.
The recall follows a notice by the country's quality authority which pointed out possible fuel leakage concerns with the car, today's Oriental Morning Post reported.
SGMW is a joint venture by SAIC Motor Co Ltd, Liuzhou Wuling Motors Co Ltd and GM China, according to the company's Website.
Fifteen car manufacturers have announced recalls this year, including one by Dongfeng Nissan Passenger Vehicle Company for 153,000 Teana sedans, the Oriental Morning Post report said.
