SMG productions win two awards at Asian Television Awards

SHANGHAI Media Group's historical documentary series "The Tokyo Trials" and singing competition series "The Grammy Star of China" won the best documentary series award and the best music program award at the 21st Asian Television Awards, which was held in Singapore on December 1 and 2.
The Asian Television Awards honors and recognizes programming and production excellence in the Asian television industry.
"The Grammy Star of China" selects top music stars and artists. The winner of the show represents the voice of China and is presented the President's Merit Award by Neil Portnow, the president and CEO of the Recording Academy.
