SMG to develop 'shopping while watching' business with new TV series

SHANGHAI Media Group's Drama and Film Center will produce diverse contents for TV screen and develop the T2O (TV to online) business mode next year, officials said yesterday.

Shopping while watching TV is expected to be applied in many new series to form a novel industrial chain in corporation with major e-commerce websites.

A variety of styles and genres of dramas and films will be offered on local TV. Some of them are adapted from popular online novels.
