Tishman Speyer partners Lenovo to develop property in Shenzhen

Property developer Tishman Speyer has partnered with Lenovo for the development of a 208,700-square-meter mixed-use project in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province.

The development plans called for the creation of office, retail center and culture space. And a large portion of the office space will serve as the new headquarters for Lenovo’s international business units.

For Tishman Speyer, whose signature assets include New York City’s Rockefeller Center and Chrysler Center, the project represents its first investment in the thriving city of Shenzhen.

“Through this dynamic mixed-use development we will further activate the Houhai central business district of Shenzhen, providing the office space and amenities that local workers and residents want,” Tishman Speyer President & CEO Rob Speyer said.
