GENERAL Motors and its joint ventures sold a record 196,990 units in November, up 11.2 percent from a year earlier.
For the first 11 months, sales by GM and its joint ventures with SAIC Motor rose 32.7 percent annually to 2.17 million units. On November 4, GM became the first global auto maker in China to sell 2 million vehicles in a single year.
Shanghai GM's sales in China rose 33.4 percent annually in November to 105,097 units.
