Chery drives to HK

CHERY Automobile Co has started selling its vehicles in Hong Kong, becoming the first Chinese mainland home-grown car maker to tap the market.

The models sold in Hong Kong are Chery's Tiggo sport-utility vehicle and Chery A1 compact, both modified for right-hand drive. The carmaker aims to sell 500 to 1,000 units of the cars this year.
