Lexus recalls

TOYOTA Motor Corp yesterday said it will recall 818 imported Lexus sedans in China from June 21 to fix defects in the steering system.
The models to be recalled are Lexus LS460 L made between August 26 and September 18 last year and November 19 last year to May 13 this year.
Others include Lexus LS600 hL hybrids that were made between August 18 and September 30, 2009, as well as between November 19, 2009 and May 13, 2010.
The Japanese car maker said the recall was due to problems in the steering control system. It would replace the defects for free.
