Output restarts
TOYOTA Motor Corp yesterday said production in China would return to normal ahead of expectations as supply recovered after the devastating earthquake.
The Japanese car maker said output at all its Chinese plants as well as spare parts factories will gradually came back after June 10.
It earlier estimated that overseas output will be restored from August before turning to normal in November.
The import of Toyota and Lexus models will also be restored step by step, the car maker said. But it also warned that deliveries of certain models will continue to be delayed.
