Porsche debuts 2017 Panamera
THE second-generation Porsche Panamera, or the 2017 Panamera, made its Asian debut in Shanghai yesterday, continuing the German luxury carmaker’s focus on China, the world’s biggest auto market.
Porsche’s focus on the Chinese market has brought dividends to the German company because in 2015, China became its largest single market in the world with more than 58,000 new vehicles delivered.
In the first three quarters of this year, Porsche sold over 178,000 vehicles globally.
In China, the company sold 49,229 units during the past 10 months, an increase of 11 percent year on year.
So far this year, China continues to be the largest single market in the world for Porsche with its double-digit growth.
