Shanghai, Michigan sign MOU
SHANGHAI International Automobile City Group yesterday signed a memorandum of understanding with Michigan Economic Development Corporation to cooperate in autonomous interconnected vehicle research.
“Both Michigan and China are making advancements in autonomous interconnected vehicle research, and this MOU solidifies our desire to work together and share needed resources to continue those advancements,” Kevin Kerrigan, senior vice president of MEDC, said.
Speaking to Shanghai Daily, Rick Snyder, governor of Michigan, said this MOU “represents a big moment not just for Shanghai International Auto City and Michigan, but also for the industry of mobility innovations. We will enhance cooperation in talent training and industrial resource connection.”
