CHINA'S quality watchdog yesterday said Swedish car maker Volvo Car Corp will recall 571 Volvo XC90 vehicles, which have a suspected fuel oil pressure pipe problem, on the Chinese mainland from Monday.
The recall covers XC90 3.2 and XC90 2.5T models produced from October 26 to December 21, 2009, said a statement on the Website of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine.
The defective oil pressure pipes could leak after connection with oil pipes and possibly start a fire in high temperatures, said the statement.
